SPACESCAPES & SEASCAPES,
ART WORK USED FOR ILLUSTRATING MY NOVELS:
I studied Art in Paris, France (a lot of years ago) and painting with non-objective techniques, Cubism, and later Expressionistic Seascapes, my art evolved - as I searched for and found unique subjects. I've been inspired to incorporate my own works within my writing. The painting measurements are in inches and the photos were used in full page presentations in the books.
USED IN PLANET HOME - SEARCH: These 12 paintings are my favourites, from my series of 115 outer space works shown in the book - from my years of creating the art of unknown exoplanets (other solar systems). The theme of the novel is FLEEING EARTH'S DEMISE related to global warming!
USED IN PLANET HOME - DINOSAURS: Fifty black and white illustrations were computer generated specifically for the book. The theme of the novel is ADVENTURE VISITING THE PLANET DINOSAURS after finding a "Home Planet"!
USED IN PLANET HOME - ADVENTURE: Sixty computer generated art works were created for the book. The theme of the novel is EXPLORATIONS OF THE CLOSE PLANET! This was the last graphic novel of the science fiction trilogy.
These are examples of exhibitions that I was able to present in the past few years. A number of the art works are now sold.
Please note that any of the works on "The Sale" webpage are available individually (including a $125 frame value). They may be purchased at $300 CAD to $650 CAD plus shipping.
USED IN 1. PELLETIER CHRONICLES - 500 YEARS, and 2 GOBLET MAKER'S WIFE: Some of my acrylic seascapes on canvas were used as illustrations. These are all large paintings. The themes relate to ENJOYING CANADIAN HISTORY with story lines focused on being truly Canadiana!
INTERNATIONAL AWARDS: With my outer space art, I've entered a few international competitions - and I won a few. The award process doesn't make me successful, but it does motivate me to enjoy creating art. From this, I've concluded that my strength related to painting is within the realm of science fiction.
